So much is happening around us....yet the bottom line in it all is our "Hearts" Jesus mentioned that where your heart is therein lies your true riches.
This morning i woke up with a sigh..a kinda like a withdrawn type of feeling, i tried to speak to my heart: i said ooh glorious gift of GOD arise! why are you so downcast , so early in the morning? hehehe
then a question arose - where am I Nthabi? in all you do on a daily basis.. every second where am I, where is my resting place: Jesus found a resting place for HIS heart in Abba...and HIS kingdom and ultimately dying for me! the Bible says when He died: He gave up HIS spirit...that word gave up speaks of authority... He gave it up for me... He found rest in dying for me.
Where is your heart.... today?
Growing up is a fierce journey filled with great adventures, last night i spoke to a dear friend of my mine as she asked me: Why is it so hard for us 2 measure up, am i really "enjoying" my life ( as i grow up) I then said ... Well i dont think the world thinks we are having "FUN"... they think we are bored, i think they think we use our LORD as a crutch infact I dont think we ought to measure up at all, our scale as Christians is way too different from that of the world, our idea of fun is sooooo vast and so different to that of the world simply because of how we derive meaning!
****OUR hearts are to HIM ....for HIM and HIS purpose on the earth and everything that we do...is derived from that ( or should be).*****
My prayer today is that my heart will find its resting place in establishing Abba's kingdom.
I choose not 2 cloud myself with too much of work issues, salary issues, promotion issues, getting that house issues, trading my car for a new one dilemma, relationship issues.... - all of this should just be a cherry on top of a rested heart.
HIS purpose in the earth will prevail.
Daddy rest my heart in YOU first....
.....and all will follow! the ground will be ready to receive everythin else.
